Strategic guide
How to move from the DBM system to your own system.
You have been working with me for a while. You can see the system brings you clients, you feel confident. And now you want it to be yours. That is completely normal.
Just a reminder
The DBM system exists so you can start with a small investment, because at the beginning there is not much to put in. You were afraid of never seeing your money again, or you had already been caught out by solutions that brought you nothing. That is exactly what this system answers.
But after a while, wanting your own system is natural and legitimate.
And frankly, had you known from the start that it would work this well, you would probably not have hesitated to put €1,800 down to own the system outright.
If you read nothing else
Here is what I recommend.
- 1
First, get your domain name
www.yourname.com
You can buy it yourself, or I can take care of it for you.
- 2
Then, in a few months, we make the change
Long enough for your address to exist and for Google to know it. That is what prevents a drop when we switch. I explain all of it below.
- 3
And on the day, you have your own site
In three months or in six, whenever suits you: your site and your ad account, under your name.
And here is what it costs
€20
per year, today
The domain name. That is all you pay to start the clock.
€1,500
on switching day
Your site is yours, under your name. Against €1,800 for someone I have never worked with.
€100
per year after that
To keep it online and up to date. €200 if you prefer Squarespace.
And now, let me walk you through how it works.
What you need to understand
Two things make my system strong: the authority of the domain and the age of the ad account.
The authority of the domain
My site has been online for years. It has built up visitors, citations, trust. Google places what lives on it ahead of newer sites it does not know yet.
The age of the ad account
Thousands of euros spent on massage only. The algorithm already knows who books, when and where. A new campaign takes several weeks to settle, sometimes months to stabilise. Mine are effective far sooner.
And it works in your favour, because everything is dedicated to massage: the site as much as the ad account. A practitioner with a generalist agency does not have that advantage, and most of the time does not even know it exists.
Your Google profile
Your profile and your site lift each other.
Your Google profile is yours, and it stays yours whatever happens. But it does not live on its own: to decide which profile to show first, Google also looks at the strength of the site it is attached to.
That is what explains the drop during a transition. Your profile suddenly loses the backing of an established site, and finds itself attached to an address nobody knows yet.
Hence the point of getting your domain now: give it a little time to age, and the switch barely shows.
The risk, in one story
Switching everything overnight.
Benjamin made the move all at once. His new site was three days old. The site and the ad account both started from zero in Google's eyes, and his ranking dropped sharply for as long as it took everything to settle again.
When the day comes
Two ways to build your site.
One question settles it: do you want to be able to edit your site yourself?
I code your site
€100 per year
- Faster to load, and Google takes that into account.
- The design is clearly better.
- Half the yearly cost.
You will not be able to edit it easily yourself. I make the changes.
I build it on Squarespace
€200 per year
- You keep control, very easily.
- You change your text and photos whenever you want.
The site is slower, the design less refined, and the subscription costs twice as much.
Your reviews are yours. Always.
Your Google profile and every one of your reviews stay entirely your property, at all times. I manage performance, never your reputation, and there is nothing to reclaim if you decide to leave.
A bonus, and it counts
Directory listings can be automated.
It is a real lever for local visibility, and we can set it up together whenever you want. One caveat: if you plan to switch soon, wait for your new address. Otherwise everything the directories bring goes to the old one.
For today
You have one decision to make: your brand name.
And after that
We keep working together to make your business durable, and to get you recommended by AI, by ChatGPT and the others. That takes a system too, and it is a separate piece of work.
To give you an idea of what it involves: a site fed with real content, and articles about me across the web. All of it contributes.
We will look at it together when you are ready.
Send me the name, I register the domain and put the page online. We switch when you are ready.
